Colors of the Huachucas, Oil. 24" x 36". This original oil is done on linen, stretched on 1.5" deep stretcher bars and gallery-wrapped. I love painting agave because of the fun I can have with the composition. The bird is a male black-chinned hummingbird, drawn to the lupine.
